Question: Assume you have 10ml of a concentrated solution of dye and you want to prepare a 1/3, 1/9, and 1/27 dilution so that you have at least 5 ml of each solution to work with when you are all done. How can you accomplish this? Diagram a scheme that illustrates your method.
I understand the 1/9 dilution is just the 1/3 dilution + 3 parts solvent. But how do I know how much solvent to use? And I started with aIDing 3ml of concentrated solution from the 10 ml tube.
