In regards to your local leaders addressing infectious diseases, In some areas Community health workers have a long history of promoting comprehensive health services, but using them to deliver infectious disease prevention services in the United States has not been well studied recently. When to use community health workers and the skills required vary depending on the environment, culture, and context in which they are used Do you think your local law makers should make more use of community health workers such as nurses and other healthcare workers? I realize that funding for community workers may be an issue in some areas, but getting workers out into the communities to educate people may help to cut down on infectious diseases. Your thoughts?
